Although testing is a fun way to make a little extra cash, it’s serious business for our customers, so we ask that you don’t accept any tests if you’re not ready to focus on the tasks and give your honest and constructive feedback.
Our Terms of Service and Content Policy outline everything you need to know about any rules or restrictions that might apply to you as a Contributor. Take some time to carefully review these agreements so that you understand what's expected of you.
Remember: You agreed to these terms in order to sign up as a UserTesting Contributor. So if you don't meet these standards, it'll be considered a breach of our Terms of Service and we'll have to remove your account.
We've shared some of the most important agreements from these policies that you should remember:
About your account
- You'll provide us with accurate and up-to-date profile information.
- You'll only create one account.
- You won't allow anyone else to use your account. Your account is yours and yours only.
About taking tests
- You'll honestly answer screener questions, and you won't accept tests when you don’t meet the requirements.
- You'll make sure that your feedback and video recordings are appropriate for public display (customers may use your recordings for their business purposes).
- We welcome your honest and constructive feedback, but you should never use obscene, inappropriate, or offensive language, images, or communication.
- When you participate in a Live Conversation test or a test that requires Face Recording, you'll be mindful of what your webcam displays and keep things appropriate.
- We welcome your honest and constructive feedback, but you should never use obscene, inappropriate, or offensive language, images, or communication.
- You won't copy or take screenshots of any part of a test.
- You might end up testing websites or apps that aren't public yet so you promise to keep all test information confidential.
These are just a few points from our Terms of Service. We strongly encourage you to read all of our terms and our Content Policy so that you have a complete understanding of the Contributor Code of Conduct.
