We hope taking tests is an easy and fun way for you to share your thoughts and maybe even earn some extra money. However, we understand that sometimes unexpected technical issues or other problems can happen.
Depending on the situation, you should either report a problem to let us know what went wrong or quit the test to opt out of participating.
When you should report a problem
Requests for prohibited personal information
During the test, there is a request for you to provide any prohibited personal information.
Technical issues
The test has a technical issue, and you’re unable to complete many of the tasks.
Example: A link isn’t working as expected or the web page isn't loading.
Confusing instructions
The task instructions are impossible to understand.
Example: The instructions are missing or incomplete, or the instructions are too confusing to follow.
When you should quit a test
Too many distractions
Your environment becomes too loud or distracting.
Example: People are talking in the background, loud music is playing, or someone is trying to have a conversation with you during your test.
Not qualified to take the test
After starting the test, you find out you’re not a good fit.
Example: You said that you have an account for a product or service, but when you try to sign in you realize that you don’t.
Missed tasks or didn't follow the directions
You accidentally worked ahead of the task instructions.
Example: You skipped over an important step, and now you can't go back and complete it.
Unsure about sharing personal details
The test requests other personal information you don’t feel comfortable providing.
No longer interested in the test
You decide you don't want to complete the test, or something comes up, and you can no longer finish it.

When you report a problem
You'll have the opportunity to include a description of the problem, so please provide as much detail as possible. Also, keep in mind that this description is sent to our Support team, so be mindful of what you share.
Reporting a problem will send an automatic notification to our team to let us know there was an issue. Your problem reports allow us to better support you and the person who created the test.
When you quit a test
When you quit a test, you're simply released from the session.
